Updated part list and pic below
I have built probably around 8 or 9 Ar15s mostly carbines and 20" rifles but havent built a SPR type yet. So here it starts: Aero Precision upper YHM Smooth rifle ff rails YHM Flip up gas block The barrel is on order (6-8 weeks) from Black Hole Weaponry. It is a 18" 3 groove poly 1 in 8 ss finished in black. For the lower I figured I would just pick up a Aero lower and put a Timney trigger in it, and just use a regular A2 stock. As for the optics I havent figured out what to go with yet, maybe the Nikon M223. For the flash suppressor I am thinking of going with the ops incase if I want to get one of the Ops cans, but then again the YHM Phantom suppresor mount is on my short list as well. |

The rail looks good, I like the fact that it is smooth and still has holes drilled and tapped to add more rails if needed. Shouldnt have to worry about that though with the small sections of rail on the sides and bottom. The finish is decent and the rails appear to be in spec. The anti rotation screws is a nice touch on it, you dont have to worry about the rail moving at all.
With that said, I just ordered a Palmetto State Armory lower. Any answers on the question of having the bolt matched to the barrel? |

Well, this is what I have so far, I decided to go with more of a spec look build. Still not a clone though.
CMMG 2 Stage Trigger BHW 1x8 twist 18" Barrel PRI Gen III handguards OPS Inc Brake and collar Palmetto Lower Aeor Precision upper Stag LPK PRI flip up front sight gas block (not shown, I just ordered it) DPMS FA Carrier with Rainier Arms Thunder Bolt I still need the PRI SPR top rail, bipod, scope and rings.
