This week I have started building my first rifle. I am blaming Denny from GTS for the desire to build an SPR. He posted pictures of his rifle and I was hooked. RRA lower, Williams set trigger, CMT upper, GTS super duty carrier group, LaRue 1" scope mount. Here is what I have so far.

| AARRGGG...Bushmaster sent me the action block, but did not ship me the armorer's tool. One of those would be kinda helpful when assembling a rifle. Oh well another week isn't that long to wait, I already waited for the Noveske barrel. At least this will not happen with the next build. |
| Lookin good! I just finished my SPR mk12mod1 build yesterday. Got a Spikes Tactical lower with A2 buttstock. Upper is a Dennys 18" armortech SPR barrel with 12" LaRue rail on a LaRue stealth upper. Using Denny's heavy duty BCG and Troy BUISs. Can't wait to get it to the range and then get a scope. |
Pics please. I am only waiting on the wrench from Bushmaster and I need to find a crush or peel washer to mount my muzzle brake. I test fit everything last night and it all seems to fit well. |
