| For an 18" barrel, is a mid-length or rifle length gas system better? The gun will not have any kind of sound suppression. I just finished my lower this evening and I'm trying to figure out my next move. This is my first build. I appreciate any insight from those more experienced than I. |
| noveskie has a SPR lengh gas tube. It is 1.5" shorter than a rifle lengh system. Perfect for an 18" barrel. They sell the barrel/gasblock/gas tube assembly. If you call, you might could get them to sell you the tube. Course, you'll have to relocate the port on other barrels... |
