What manufacturers make mounts like larue's spr mounts, but bolt on instead of quick detach?
Also, how high is the center of a scope mounted in a Burris PEPR mount? |

There is the Primary Arms deluxe scope mount....http://primaryarms.com/product.sc?productId=533&categoryId=220

Quoted:
You can get a Larue mount with their "VFZ" attachment. It saves you $50.00 on an SPR too. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y44/mfingar/LaRue_Tactical/VFZ_Differences.jpg Edit to add: The centerline height for the PEPR: 1" is 1.5", and for the 30mm is 1.59" I think I just made my decision. Thanks for the input! |

Why not spend the extra $50 for the QD?? I haggled this too but after dealing with the 2 LT-104 mounts I have now I could not justify not using them.
My biggest concern was durability and return to zero. The LT-104's have put both of these concerns to rest for me over the years. Unless money was so tight it was the difference between my kids eating or not for a few days. Even then i would debate a regimen of PB&J sandwiches
