I just bought 250 rds of SSA 5.56 M855 and if it is good as the other SSA ammo I just bought the cat's meow.  The 69 and 77gr both shoot .600" to .700" five round groups in my RR 20" Hbar.  I just wish it wasn't so expensive.   So now I know what to shoot out of it, I'll try to match it in reloads.

For .70 cents a round it better be good.

I usually reload my own at around .35 to .40 cents per round.  Years ago I could reload for 10 to 15 cents per round., but not anymore.  Of the quality of the ammo I bought for the .70 per round still leaves me with the brass I  can use.  New brass is still minimum of ..50 per case so when I shoot the M855 it will really only cost me around .20 a round.  So it is an investment.

No Offense, but....

Remember your 69 and 77 SSA ammo was using a Match bullet.... the bullet in M855 ammo is far from that.

Keep us posted as to the group size from the M855. Thanks ahead of time.... and Good Luck !!
