O.K. I have a question and need a little input. I am looking to buy my upper and have a SS upper on my mind. I don't know why, I guess I just like the look. I am looking at the BCM SS410 16" Mid Length Upper Receiver Group 1/8 Twist from Bravo Company. I am also looking at the standard BCM Standard 16 Mid Length Upper Receiver Group they have. Is it worth the extra $100 to go Stainless? Are there any advantages? Other than I like the look of the SS and black I really don't know why I want one. Thanks

I have this exact barrel on my not-yet-complete middy build.  I chose this barrel because it is reputed to be from the same stock used for Krieger barrels.  Unfortunately, I can't comment on your main concerns but perhaps others can.  I love to looks of mine so far and expect the barrel to outlast me.  This is my first attempt to post a pic here so forgive if it doesn't work.

I love the look, those are nice looking guns. I don't know if there are any benefits to the SS over the other but it looks good. thanks for the pics.

I think you couldn't go wrong with either.  If you want Stainless get it.  I would save the $100 and just get the Std. (NonBFH) Upper.
