I was wondering if anyone knows anything about Star rifles.

Are they good quality? Do they hold a good group? Are they reliable?

The price of one at a gun shop?

Are you referring to DoubleStar?  If so, these are good quality rifles.  I'm not sure about pricing for complete rifles, but I would expect to see them in the $700-$800 range.

DoubleStar/J & T are some real good folks,and usually show up at funshows around our area.Very knowledgable about the AR,M-14,Garand,and they are coming out with a M-1911 .45,I've seen the frame,looks good!
