My CAA adjustable stock just arrived  Now I need to figure how to install it  Any help would be greatly appreciated...Thanks TO |

Its a telestock I assume.Make sure you have a stock wrench for the castle nut.Holding the lower forward so the rear detent and spring dont fall out wind the castle nut on the extension.Next the end plate as far down as they go so when you wind in the extension you wont flatten the detent spring coil with the end plate. next wind in the extension as you get far enough in push down the buffer reatiner and spring and wind in till the extension stops..back it offf the buffer retainer so the retainer moves freely but is covered enough by the extensions lower lip face.Then push down the plate and depress the detent spring and then wind the castle nut down and tighten with the wrench. Some people loc-tote the castle nut and some stake it on to the rear plate..you will see the small notches in the castle nut thats the end that goes up against the plate and the larger cut outs where the wrench grabs into face toward the rear of the rifle.You can stake the metal from the plate into the small groove or loc tite it using blue loctight.Im a narotic I use a little blue loc-tite and stake it.Just dont loc-tite the extension into the threads on the lower.Hope this helps.

Welcome to the dark side man.I traded one of my pre-bans to my brother who had no AR for an M14 type..leaves me with 3 and damn I want another one.My wife and I are moving to Texas in march of next year..its gonna be my gift to myself..a CMMG M4A1 type with the soccom barrel..ill just have to change the telestock to a mil-spec assembly and Ill be good to go.Either tha or Ill get one of thos tomsawyer MFG lowers with some nice engraving
