[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Sabretooth ar-15

Was just at a local gun store and he had a few Sabretooth arms ar-15's for sale(built in Erwin N.C.), anyone ever heard of them? Are they another name for Hesse? They looked like descent guns but I don't want to invest in a piece of junk. Any help is appreciated.

Never heard of "Sabretooth" before, but there is a Sabre Defence Industries (with a sabre toothed tiger logo), out of Nashville TN, and they make some of the best AR's out there.

Sabre Defense is the only place I know that uses a sabretooth tiger logo.

Sabre Defense is Tier 2 I think. They follow the mil-spec guidelines even though they don't have to. Their barrels are made in-house IIRC and use high quality metal.

There is a Sabertooth Defense which is part of Vortec Development in Erwin N.C. They make ARs. Scroll down the left side and you'll see Sabertooth Defense.

Sabre Defence is top notch stuff, never heard of of sabretooth. Talon Arms usualy has some of their excelent uppers in stock.
