Are Sako barrels desireable.Saw some that were supposed to be GI surplus AI pencil configuration.I got a Colt barrell marked CMP C from this guy(same batch of surplus) because I didn't know about the Sako.Any info is appreciated.

You mean Saco? Sako of Finland doesn´t make any barrels for M16 weapon system, unfortunately.

I have a couple Saco 20" pencil bbl's. They are marked 'SAK MP CHROME BORE'. As far as I know they are good mil spec barrels. Saco had the contract for M60's so they should know a thing or two about mfgr of bbl's.

I just torqued one onto an upper and everything looks good so far. I hope to get to test fire and sight in early next week. I'm waiting for a set of std hg's to show up but I might just go to the range with an oven mit .
