Anybody try some of that .308 from Samco Global?

They advertised some Swedish 308 but recently sent an email saying they ran out and had some brazilian 308.  Any experience with either round?

Was just trying to buy some of the Portugese 7.62 and they sold out before I could get my paperwork done (ID and such)

They still had the Swedish so I took that but have not shot any of it yet.

ETA: the tarnish isn't bad.  The copper is discolored but no real corrosion.  There is some grit covering them.  Nothing a wipe with a rag will not clean off.

Looks perfectly shoot able to me.

Just got some Hirt because the other was sold out.
They emailed me several times and asked if I wanted to substitute and I did. Great comms BTW.
I went through 500rds today and i would say about 25% has some spots that look iffy but most of them clean up with a brillo pad.
Maybe 2% look bad.

I would have taken hirtenberger in a heartbeat.

Finally got the Brazilian ammo.  It's headstamp is CBC and dated in the 70's.  Quick research says CBC is the manufacturer of Magtech ammo too.  Brass varied from tarnished to a few bright and shiny.  Projectiles all looked bright.  Won't get a chance to shoot any for several weeks but if it goes bang it's the best NATO ammo price I have seen in a while...

Today I fired 70 rounds of the nastiest most corroded(some were black, some were pink)rounds out of my lot.
No failures of any kind out of my FAL and i noticed it was a tighter group than the Izzy surplus I shot right before.

Those clowns are a bunch of clowns. I'll never bother myself buying anything from them ever again.   If you all have had good luck buying from them then good for you.
