| Sellior&belliot, Is it any good, or do I need to stay away from it.hippie.gif |
| Some ppl have had NON crimped rounds , where when you chamber it , it could push the bullet back into the case. Ive personally shot .45 and .223 S&B with out any hiccups. But that was when I could get it for 120bux for a 1000. If you can get it cheap, get it, if its the same price as federal or winchester, id stick with those. |

THE S&B Head stamp ZV is great stuff! I had Chuck Santoes Chek it out before I bought a bunch! Hotter Than M855 specs wich is 3025fps@ 25M ZV Nato cross/ S&B is 3085FPS @ 25M Better yet SD14 OUTSTANDING I have no problems with it? Some guys like to Bash anything without any proof! Buy a box or 2 and test it out |

I have used it in the past, and currently still have a little left. My experience is limited to .223 55 gr. FMJ. Pros: It shoots very well and I had no problems over at least 600 rounds. Accuracy was better than average for FMJ ammo. Velocity seemed to be very good. It is readily available, and it is brass cased, and fairly affordable. Cons: The jacket contains steel. This will prevent the bullet from performing like M193. It will cause sparks when shot at steel targets. Exercise a little extra caution when using it. The brass is not good for reloading, although it is boxer primed, the cases are weak. I have found numerous neck splits on once fired brass. Overall, I like it. If it becomes a better deal than WWB or UMC, I'll plink with it. Most of the guys who rent out machineguns use it in their rifles if that tells you anything. |
