I have not bought a scope in years and need a new one for an AR. I mostly just shoot paper targets at the out to 200-300 yards max. I have a gift cert for Amazon for $400 but can add a little to it to get to the quality level & specs of those listed below.

I have the Nikon M-223 and the Vortex HS 4-16x44. Both are very good scopes and come with a great warranty. Go somewhere and look through each one to see which one fits your eye best. The glass is different.
They all have some different options, maybe that is important to you as we'll as the different reticles. You can never go wrong with a Zeiss. |
