I am building a light weight coyote buster on a Cav Arms lower with a DPMS Tactilite upper.  Plan on using a Bushnell 1-6 illuminated dot scope at first (to see if I like it) and need to know what mounts would work well for this.  Light Weight prefered.  Anyone got some suggestions on this.  TIA

I use a YHM scope riser and Simmons rings on my predator rig.  I run a 1.5-5 power scope.  It seems good for hits out to 250-300 yds.

I first tried using YHM risers and leupold rings, didn't like that, tried a set of Burriss extra high mounts, didn't like that.  Bought a LaRue LT-104 SPR mount, and then another.  It lets you put higher power glass on your flattop and still get good eye relief.  The quick detach function holds zero well two.  I've now got LaRue mounts on both of my AR's that I use scopes on.

If it says LaRue, you will have made a good choice.
