So why would you need to remove the FSB/Std A2 front sight assy if you mount a 2.5-8x36 optic?

| at 2.5x the front sight may appear as a slight blur in the scope, normally not enough to interfere with using the scope. at 8x you should not see the FSB at all. you don't really need to remove the FSB - at low power some people find the slight blur of the FSB annoying and will opt for a folding FSB |
