I'm about to order the Vortex RZR-16003 HD 1-6x24mm for my ACR and I need a mount. I've found these two Larue mounts and I'm not knowledgeable enough to pic between the two. The mounts are LaRue Tactical SPR / M4 Scope Mount QD LT104 and the LaRue Tactical SPR-S Mount LT158 w/10MOA downward angle. Would I benefit from the 10 MOA downward angle with this scope in 3 gun matches? Would that angle possibly hurt my close range shooting? Also do these mounts have enough space under the scope for back up irons?
Also do these mounts have enough space under the scope for back up irons? Thanks Dustin |

There's plenty of room for folding BUIS.
This page explains the reticle being useful to 600 yards. If that is true then I don't see how you would need a mount with moa of angle built in. Vortex's PDF explains how to zero the optic in and use the reticle for elevation holds. Knowing this ... I don't foresee the need for any mount with built in moa of downward angle. |
