I'm new here and seeking some advice.  I own a Bushmaster M4A3 Carbine and have recently purchased a Leupold Mark AR 1.5x4 20mm scope for this rifle.  Can you guys recommend a good quality scope mount that will put the scope at the proper height and eye relief distance, that will be solid but without being terribly expensive?  I was considering the DNZ Freedom Reaper mount.  Opinions on this mount or recommendations of others is appreciated.  Also if you guys could post some pics. of your rifles and their scope mounts, show off your black guns.  Thanks.

You're going to hear more "Larue" than anything. They are the best mounts out there.

ARMs, and American Defense are good too.

I have a ARMs for my Mark AR 1.5-5. Just remember the Mark AR is a 1" tube. You need to get 1" mounts or spacers if you use 30mm mounts.

Can you guys also recommend a place to buy scope mounts on the net?  I've looked at Brownells and Midway, are there other sources for online shopping?  Thanks.

I like the looks and info. of the Burris mount but don't like the picatinny rail on top of the rings.  Any further suggestions?  Thanks.

LaRue's website..   Or, since they are a site sponsor, just click on orange stage of Texas with "LaRue" written on it at the top of your screen.

Or, as for other site sponsors, you can try Midwest Industries, skd, or Rainier Arms.

Larue is considered the best by many.  Larue has a lot of fans, but don't discount the ADM or Bobro mounts.  I think it's a matter of preference in that any one of the mounts don't do anything that the other two won't do.  They just go about doing the same job in different ways.  For ADM, you might want to check out Smartgunner and for the Bobro, Sport Optics sells the Trijicon branded mounts for a very reasonable price.

With our new Deluxe Mount the PIC rails are optional. We also offer a extended version that will allow you to run NTCH. Our mount is 2oz lighter. The pics are with 30mm rings but we have a dedicated 1" version as well. Do a search on Primary Arms and you will see you buy with confidence,

We have the PEPR, Bobro and ADM as well.
