| I have just mounted a tasco varmint/tactical to my ar using and M&A 1x piece scope mount. I mounted it all the way forward and it is still too far back for eye relief. I have to pull my head back pretty far to get a picture. Has anyone else had this problem. What other high magnification scope would fit properly? I would like the scope to be roughly in the same spot as the open sight. |

Many varmint scopes are so long, and have fairly long eye relief, that the only way to mount them on an AR is to use something like an ARMS #38ex "Swan Sleeve" to provide mounting positions far enough forward.
