| I am looking at DPMS rifles. I wanted a flattop for scope mounting but they do not offer a flattop without a bull barrel. I do not want a bull barrel for several reasons. One is because of weight. I want a fun shooting rifle for tactical purposes not bipod tack driving at the range. Secondly, DPMS rifles with Bull barrels are not chambered for the 5.56 rd. I want to be able to shoot MIL surplus ammo from my gun. So can I mount a scope on a regular style AR receiver (the style with the carry handle). Cory |
