What power scope do I need to bench rest out to 500 600 yards
Ar15 shiilen 24 inch stainless wylde chamber timney trigger also what type of rest do you use?. Thanks paul |

Note: I do not shoot competition, but I have a leupold VX3 4.5-14x40 LR that I have shot a 500yds; It was sufficient for me. The cross hairs on my Trijicon Accupoint 2.5-10x56 are too thick for me at 500yds for "fine tune work". I do know the USMC shoots their fixed 10x mark 4's to around a 1000yds.
I use a Caldwell Tack Driver for a shooting bag and am pleased so far. I guess it depends on your intentions. |
