I am new to the world of AR-15's and in the process of trying to select a kit for my first build. I have done a bit of research and found the kits from Del-Ton and Anderson to be appealing, but i'm still unsure of exactly what I should get. I'm looking to put together a quality entry level plinker and save a bit of money building it myself. A local shop has the kit listed below on sale for $500. I'm looking to spend up to around $800 on the build. Any ideas, advice, or input would be appreciated!

The best kit is the one you put together yourself. When I did my first one, I educated myself here on the forum as to what were the good parts/good prices, then I went shopping....mostly on line. |
