I think you are focused on the wrong thing. For "defense", accuracy of the round is a million time better the accuracy of the shooter.. I would agree with that. It makes no difference if you're shooting 1" groups at 50 yards or 3" groups - your ability to aim the weapon will add much more error to the equation than the inaccuracy of the ammo. That being said, I would still expect the ammo to group reasonably well - say no worse than 3" with irons, better if it's scoped. |

thanks everyone. Was just wanting a sense of what to expect for accuracy. I know that doesn't matter if I can't hit what I am aiming at.
I know this is not the reloading forum but with reloads I was doing development at 200 yards to get the most reliable load but then I got to thinking this is a 25 yard or less round so I could just shoot closer in and try to get the velocity I am wanting and not worry about shooting bug holes at further ranges. |
