I've got a couple of these slings and am wondering how they should be set up. Should it be set so that at its shortest length I can shoulder it comfortably and adjust it longer for things like prone use, or should it be pulled tight to the bring the rifle close to the body for carry and adjust longer if I need to shoulder it? Something else entirely? Thanks |

I have a sling so that when I have to put on my plate carrier with my local warlord patch during the neighborhood riots I can hang it comfortably yet securely to my body and do other activities while standing guard all day. I set it up for that, so on the snug side. For prone I can always swim out of it if needed. Train in your gear and figure out what works |
