Looking for an effective shell deflector for my south paw wife's AR.  It has the A1-A2 style carry handle and a sight mounted on it.  I want her to have an enjoyable AR shooting experience, not a shell in the eye, down her shirt, etc.
Suggestions please.
Thanks.

Johnmasen sells a bolt on deflector #1593 at $6.95 or you can fabricate one yourself.

I used cardboard folded in triangle held on by electrical tape for years.  Marine drill instructor showed me that trick many years ago.  Finally broke down and made something a little more versatile in 5 minutes one night.  Rubber battery post cover,  scissors and super glue.  Works great,  silent,  stays put and drops brass in a nice neat pile within arms reach if one flies rearward.

rubber car battery at any auto parts store works pretty well and an easy non-permanent mod.

The USGI units work good too.. I use one to keep the brass off my pardners while bench shooting.
Its also good for the lefties.
