Question for all. I just got a remington 700 Police in 308 with a 26" barrel. I need to know if anyone has ever used a Shepard scope. I am thinking real hard about getting one of these and was looking for some feed back on them. This is going to be a Long Range gun. 600-1200yrds. Everything I have seen thus far indicats that it will suit my needs. I like the range finding abilities and that is the main reason for this scope. Also if not a shepard why??? And what would you reccomend??? I have about a $700 budget. Thanks, GSX |

I know Dan Shepard personally, and he is a heck of a nice guy. His ideas about reticle systems are way out ahead of everyone. His scopes are made economically and therefore sold at a competitive price. If you go easy on it, it should give you satisfactory service.
