[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Shooting My First AR Build!

Got a chance to shoot my first AR build for the first time today. Put a hundred rounds down range with no issues whatsoever.

I am pretty happy with it so far.

SAA lower receiver with DPMS LPK. SAA upper with NcStar quad rail, Magpul rear/front flip up sites. NcStar 4 retical tactical red/green dot sight. (gonna replace this with a scope when I can afford too) SAA buttstock assembly kit with S&W stock. YHM Phantom flash hider and a UTG single point sling locking plate. Also, put a Hogue grip for comfort

Ya, like a dummy, I got excited to go and left my shooting glasses on my recliner as I walked out the door. Did not discover this 'til I was up in the hills.

After getting the flip up sights zeroed, I really am wanting to put a scope on this baby. Looking at maybe the Weaver V Classic 1-3X20 or, the Optisan 1-4X24. Can't decide yet.

I'm glad for the places we have here to shoot but, unfortunately we have some idiots who don't know how to clean up their messes and they are trying to take those places away from us.
