Any suggestions for a short eye relief (2" or so) Compact Scope to mount on a AR Pistol? Preferably a variable power 3-9 or 2-7
This NcStar is the only thing I've found, it has great features, but from what I've read NcStar is pretty much just ChiCom junk! NcStar Mark III Tactical 3-9x42mm Any suggestions???? |

It is China junk. It's terrible glass too, my brother has one
On the other hand, I had the 2-7 3RS NcStar scope, and the glass was a bit better plus eye relief. It actually held zero. I sold it however, it is much heavier because there are rails all over it. If you could take the rails off and get a regular scope mount, I would suggest the 2-7 much more than the 3-9. Either way you're ultimately going to be disappointed. I would suggest getting a primary arms red dot or springing for an RMR or something. |

I picked up a Nikon P-223 3x32mm BDC Carbine...., shot it a bit today, nice little scope....., so far so good! It's a bit limmited being a fixed 3x..., but afterall, it's a pistol, not a varmint rig!!
