I don't know if this is legal or not, but the AR looks pretty bad-ass without a stock on it... I'm wondering if anyone makes a mini-stock or else some kind of replacement which makes it look like there's no stock but yet doesn't push raw metal prongs into your shoulder..  :)

Shortest stock would be the Gen1 2-position I guess.  Basically the lenght of the Carbine Buffer tube.

Thats a ZM Weappons rifle, the stock is folded along the right side.

If you wanted no stock, you could go with one of the mini-pistol buffer tubes:

They've been around for quote some time.  Completely legal but awfully expensive and that's why you don't see them around much.
