I am wondering what all is available out there for side-mount, two-piece bi-pods. I only know of two:
The Vltor/Tango Down, which I do not think is readily available anymore http://www.rainierarms.com/img/shop/product/ced1342fb4ba2cdba8c4d54890a7e53e.jpg The CAA, which is back ordered, or possibly even discontinued (at least the longer version) http://www.copsplus.com/products/large/fo-bsr.jpg Is there anything else out there? |
| Brownells and Black Weapons Armory have the VLTOR MODPOD in stock right now. Saw it in a couple different shops here in AZ last week also. Wouldn't say it is hard to get. |

The only place that I found the CAA ones in-stock was on amazon.com and they only had the 6-8" model. For an extra $10 I would definately get the VLTOR one from BWA.
As far as other side-mount bipod options I couldn't find any. Have you ruled out a standard mount bipod? |

I really do like the side-mount design, and was hoping to find more options out there. I wonder why there are not more of them around? |
