Was shooting at the range yesterday, 50 yards. I was shooting both my 270 and my AR. All my 270 bolt action shots were 2" or less 3 shot groupings. On the AR, I was hitting a similar grouping initially, but every subsequent shot group was creeping right, eventually about 12" right, but all on line vertically with the center of the target. After checking the targets and noticing this, I dialed my optic back in over a few groups and got back in the center of the target.
I'm using a Leopuld Prismatic optic on the AR. With the bolt action I wasn't having any problems, so I don't think it was trigger pull, but maybe it is. Just wondering if anyone has any tips, or is it possible for the sight to creep over like that? |
