Technically speaking, it depends upon the sight radius of your rifle/carbine.

Practically speaking, who cares.  Just adjust it until the POI is where you want it.

Sorry I didnt add the sight radius, I know it is important, just forgot.

Parctically speaking, I care.  That is why I asked.

Sorry.  I wasn't trying to be flip.  I'm curious about things myself, so I ran off a couple of quick calculations.  

My A1 carbine has a sight radius of 14 15/32".  So moving either the front or rear sight by approximately .0048" would equal a 1 MOA shift in the POI.

Damn, we are dealing with small numbers here.  Depending on how I attack the calculation, and how my calculator rounds off the numbers, I get some variation in the answer.  Let's split the difference, and call it  .0048".
