I have a RRA mid length with a 16" barrel and a YHM free float quad rail and a weaver style gas block. The rail comes right to the gas block. I got my YHM front flip sight today and when I attached it to the gas block and laid it down it hits the rail and isn't all the way down. I can turn it around so it closes towards the muzzel but it doesn't lock down and could be knocked up.
Any recommendations for another flip up sight? I could just put one on the rail but that would be a waste of the weaver gas block and I don't want to give up the extra three or so inches if I don't have to. Thanks in advance. |
