| Me and a buddy were sighting in our ar's yesterday and we just couldnt get his on paper. The first group was 6+ inches high at only 20 yards and after adjusting the front sight to the maximum it would go he still was 4 inches high at 20 yards. He has a spikes upper with a diamondhead VRS-T free float rail with troy micro battle sights. Everything was nice and tight and intalled correctly. We checked the package the sights came in and they were meant for same plane application which is how he had them. Any ideas? |

hmm...strange. Visually does the rail appear to be exactly the same height as the upper receiver?
here's a quote I found from someone with a similar issue 2 years ago...I would tell your buddy to call Troy and tell them his problem. copenhagen1822 [Member] 4/30/2010 3:04:31 PM EDT I am running them on a 20" P308. I had an issue with the front sight though. It is my assumption that Troy put front sites from their standard sights in their micro sights- the result being that the front sight will not screw in far enough to obtain a 100 meter BZO. After taking a smidgen of metal off the top of the front sight blade, I was good to go. |

He may have to contact Troy and see if this is the problem. Thanks |
