This is a dumb question, but I'm a noob and learning.

My grouping today was about two inches below where I wanted it.  I was using my red dot.  To get it perfect, do I need to lower my dot so I'm forced to bring up the barrel more, or do I raise my red dot to make the shots higher?  Thank you!

Red dot should be marked up. Turn it that way, should be turning the top adjuster to the left like loosening a screw.

You need to sight in your red dot. If you're point of impacts are low, you will need to raise them. So adjust your red dot accordingly by turning the elevation knob "Up".

Think of it as moving the bullet hole to the dot, not the other way round.
