I dont see much talk about Sightron on here, I am unfamiliar with them, where they are made, quality, warranty, ect. I have a chance to buy a 6-20x for $275. Im seriously considering this as glass for my Lr308. Are they anything like Leupold as they will warranty them for life, regardless of where you got it? Thoughts?

Sightron is made in Japan and imported into North Carolina. They have one of THE best systems for windage and elevation adjustments. I am also considering putting one on my AR. The Sightron that I have sits on top of my 6BR bench rifle and is a fixed 36 power with 1/8 minute target dot. My only reservation about the scopes lies with those sporting a mil-dot reticle as I have heard some old reviewers claim that the mil-dot spacing is not a true mil-dot.

Sightron is a great buy.  Go to Snipershide.com for many review on them.  I have a 4X16 on 'Itzxa' my Tactical Savage.
