I may post this over in training too but thought I would start here.

I have a single point sling that attaches to the end plate on the lower reciever, I was wondering which side you stuck your arm through?
Being right handed, I naturally stick my right arm through, but then when I get to thinking about it too hard, I want to stick my left arm through. It may be all personal preference but some feedback on your preference would be appreciated. Thanks.

if this description is unclear let me know and i will try to be more specific

It should go over your right shoulder and under your left arm pit.  You want the weight hanging from your strong side shoulder.

Good post, I've been trying to work this out myself.

Do you base this recommendation on keeping the rifle clear of your secondary when you transition or some other reason?

I'm cross-eye dominant and shoot my primary lefty and my secondary righty so I'm currently setup to let my rifle fall to my left and away from my secondary.

I would say you're some kind of exception.

but sd-norske that make sense but what about when wearing a crowssdraw vest? The gun woulld be hanging into the pistol. I know crossdraw vests are shit in some people's mind, but my 5'8" 145lb frame doesn't like a whole lot of chest rigs or other systems well.

That's a tough one because even if you switch up and let the rifle fall to your strong side you have to reach over and around your primary to draw your secondary.

Exactly, I think I want to get rid of the crossdraw and do a dropleg and a chest rig of sorts. or some molle vest and build it the way I want
