This weekend will see me finishing a build with the help of a local manufacturer. He stocks the big parts for their small lineup of rifles, but not a lot of small parts for customization.

I have decided on an A2 stock because I like the length of pull and it's cheap; this one will be a range toy anyway. Looking at end plate adapters, I've seen some advertised specifically for A2 stocks, but was wondering if they have to be specifically made for them. Will any end plate adapter work? Without the stock parts in hand, I can't picture what the differences would be.

Thanks,
Peengwin

A collapsible srtock endplate is basically a flat piece of steel while a single point adaptor for an A1/A2 fixed stock is stepped to fit the profile of the front of the stock. You NEED a single point adaptor specifically made for an A1/A2 stock, you cannot use an endplate from a collapsibe stock on a fixed A1/A2 style stock....<><....:)
