Here is a copy of the original instructions from a Singlepoint Sight if anyone wants them. It is one 4" x 7" sheet, front and back folded lengthwise.
I was interested in the adjustments. If you go by dial clicks the adjustment is 1 1/4 MOA. If you use the dial marks on the optic they are in increments of two - so it represents two clicks or 2 1/2 MOA. It took me a minute to figure out what they meant, so I though it was worth noting. (In order: page 4, page 1, page 2, page 3)  
Boxed up. This one has a green dot, white dome and the body is rough, dark black with speckles. My other one is red dot, clear dome with a smooth, dark black housing.

Thanks for posting the instructions. I picked up one of these near Ft Bragg in 1990 and have been trying to get info on it ever since. Mine is red dot, clear dome, mildly rough finish-probably originally smooth. It looks like the previous owner sprayed a black "texture" paint on it or just did a bad job painting it by leaving an "orange peel" look to it. The markings are still partly legible under the paint.
Did all of these have the tritium powered low-light aiming post in them? Most of the ads for these I remember seeing mention them but I noticed the instructions above don't mention it and mine has no trace of a post in it. I had just figured the tritium was dead but now wonder if it ever had it. |
