There you go, NDS-M16E1 "retro"........that's what I was talking about (civilian speak "slab side"). No fence around the mag release. Uppers w/o the deflector or forward assist are pre A1 mod. Out of curiosity, how many of you would buy an upper that had no provision for a ejection port cover? For varminter and hunting builds, etc... Multi-gun competition a thicker receiver gives a more stable sight platform, we are pretty rough on our wepons |

Fulton Armory sells an early M16 style upper, new manufacture. No Forward assist, no shell deflector. $100 stripped, $123 with A1 sight assembly and ejection port cover. NoDakSpud is the only source I'm aware of for slab side lowers. yup, I have one of the Fulton Armory/DPMS uppers and they work great. They match a black lower perfect |
