| i own a couple of AR's and am looking to build one around a slide fire stock. looking for suggestions on a parts list. a few things i am looking for are good buffer tube and spring, extractor, chrome lined barrell, and trigger group that can handle the intense beating. not really looking for accuracy. any help would be appreciated. That's it I'm going into the tinfoil hat sales business. I'll get friggin RICH The Akins Accelerator also came with an approval letter from the ATF. Didn't stop them from rounding all of them up when they changed their mind. I'm certainly not a tin foil hat wearing conspiracy theorist stockpiling for the Mayan Zombie apocolypse. I'm just saying that the stock is expensive, and people should know the ATF's history with similar products before spending their hard earned cash on it. |

It would be nice if you knew what you were talking about...with the AA...the owners turned in the springs and kept the stock. That is why the new company that bought the rights to AA...is giving a discount on AA owners if they want to upgrade to the new 10/22 stock.

It's a friggen $300 dollar stock. Some of you are acting like it cost more than the AR itself
I have a real question for anyone who can answer. For a dedicated Slide fire AR build, what would increase rate of fire? I assume lightweight components? such as buffer, bolt carrier etc? Any input would be appreciated |

Now if I could get some info on the SFT working on a .22 or a 9mm convo... That would be more interesting (to me, anyway). |

List of supplies: 1 coffee can, metal 1 oz gasoline $500 cash Matches Procedure: put cash in can, apply gas. introduce matches Stand back and enjoy. This..... I have shot one did not see the point. It is uncontrollable, tacticool, and always a good laugh to watch people get all excited about wasting ammo and missing the target completely or making your target look like you shot it with a shotgun. |
| To each their own. If the point is to waste ammo, the stock works great in lieu of a select fire. The OP is not asking opinions on it. I have heard if you use an enhanced trigger such as Geissele 3 gun, that 22lr can work. That is how it appeals to me. And use some grease to reduce friction in the buffer tube area. |
