WOW - this thing actually works! Once I learned to pull forward on the hand guard consistently, this thing works GREAT. Took only 5-minutes to install on my eclectic AR (mix of POF lower, drop-in single stage trigger and PK Firearms upper - FN 16 inch Mid-length - Govt Profile - Noveske NSR 13.5 - Battlecomp 1.0). The Battlecomp did GREAT at controlling muzzle rise as well. Fun day at the range until I ran out of ammo.
Because I usually shoot semi-only (even with 25 years Army experience, I rarely fired continuously on full auto) the metal, non-insulated fore-end got HOT. Strongly recommend GLOVES if you plan to empty magazines like I did.
