has anyone purchased one of these stocks? If so how are they, I'm having trouble getting myself to pay that price for it. So my question is is it worth the $350 they want for it?

Materials wise not worth $350 at all. After dumping a mag with it the grin it put on my face was WELL worth it. I think it is tons of fun!

Yeah thats what pisses me off about the stock.  I want one but not for that price.  If they lowered the price by 150 they would sell twice as many and make more money.   No way R and D made the price go up that much.

they are fun if you have never fired a full auto before. once you fire it and realize how absolutely shitty the thing is as far as accuracy goes, it will make you want and love your semi auto that much more. its not worth 350, and i will not plop that much cash down for one.

the only exception would be if i had a belt fed AR upper. i would make some type of mount for the upper that was bolted down to a tripod mount or something and use the bump stock to make it run "full auto". should be accurate too due to the mount. dont know or care if its legal, i cant afford it either way.

You do realize that the recoil and movement of the rifle are what makes the stock work right? If you make the rifle stationary to the point that it can't move, the stock isn't going to work.

it works'; nice for grins...not worth the $350 tag...maybe a $100...

Got one for the AK.cost about $280...plenty of fun....plenty accurate.

If you don't like the cost of the stock you damn sure won't like the cost of the ammo to run it

well, there you have it. no reason to buy one now. and yes i know about the recoil making it bump fire, i just assumed someone could make a mount and still have it work.

With about 20 minutes of practice you can do the same thing with a normal AR.

20 minutes to save $350.   Not really a hard decision.

Even if I had $350 to blow, it's a steep price to pay for something the ATF will arbitrarily declare a "machine gun" next week.

see how smooth and easy this guy is with a Slidefire? Especially shooting from the shoulder?  can't do that with a regular bumpfire..yeah maybe a few guys can but it took a lot longer than 20min to learn

Yes I have..and I've seen others who can bumpfire well but prefer the Slidefire anyway...Let me put it to you this way...Some folks (me included) shoot really well with iron sights...does that mean that everyone else should give up their ACOGs and Eotechs and shoot irons only?  I mean irons do what an Eotech does for hundreds less right? No because ACOGs and Eotechs make the job a little easier ..products that make the job a little easier bring value..you have them all over your house (and your guns)  I have them all over mine.  The only question here is how much value does the Slidefire bring..to some folks its $300...to others not so much.

My uncle has a slide fire and that thing is really just a blast to shoot with. It's a $350 piece of plastic, but to someone like me who has never shot a full auto, it was worth every penny. Currently considering getting a new AR to put one on

Shitty accuracy?? I'd have to put that on the shooter and not on the stock.  As accurate as the rifle was before the slide fire and controllable.

9mm slide fire
