Hi Guys,
I sure hated to spend $300.00 for a butt stock but this is as close to owning a machine gun that I will every be!! I happen to live in a state that just in the last 10 years where you could own a Sub Gun? The same Sub Gun that could be bought in the mid 70's $800.00 tops, and you would be lucking to get that same gun would set you back $4500.00 if you were lucky! The stock works great, and in 20 min's or so you can shoot up a $100.00 worth of ammo!! I researched the S.F. to make sure it would work with my 22LR Conversion and I have seen several u tube video's showing one working just fine! The lower that I have set up for this stock has the best matching trigger to hammer mesh I have ever seen! Okay I lighten the springs it has about 2 1/2 lbs. trigger pull. I am at a loss, maybe someone on here can help me. email is the best for me Greg |

$500

Plenty of haters here but mine has worked completely as advertised and has put big smiles on a lot of faces at my personal range. ![]() If I could get a M16 or a RR for 5x (or maybe even 10x) the cost of the SlideFire, I'd do that instead paperwork notwithstanding... since it's closer to a 50:1 ratio, this scratches that particular itch enough for me (at least for now). YMMV. |

I havent read any hate in this thread... I meant "here" as in this site, not this particular thread –– do a quick search of the many threads on this topic and you will see plenty of hate, derision, snarkiness, elitism, etc. I'm going to get one. |

It switches back and forth easily, but not as easily as just sliding one stock off and another on –– the slidefire has a proprietary grip unit as well which allows it to work like it does. |

I think slide fires are retarded, waste of money, waste of ammo, tacticool not practical, banned at most legit ranges, dangerous because most shooters lob rounds off ranges, look stupid, and SCREAMS not a serious shooter imho,.... there I contributed. ![]() You left out some stuff. |

I bought the SlideFire stock but have yet to use it on my Stag. The private range i joined allows only "semi-auto" rifles. I tend to be one to follow the rules so i will wait until i shoot at a buddies farm or something to try it out.
As for why i bought it? Well, first off i will admit its not practical to do it on a daily basis with the cost of ammo. That being said, the fact that you can essentially have an automatic rifle when you WANT to have one is pretty cool. For the $300 or so it was i believe it will be worth it, sure beats paying for a true automatic rifle imo. Heck, ever had a bad day at work?? I think a 30 round magazine fired in "auto" fashion would be a nice relief :) |

I'm gonna go out on a limb here, are you trying to say that the SF is not working with your 22lr conversion?
I have read in the past that it works best with the "lightest" upper and "hot" or magnum 22's. The whole process works off bumpfire and a 22 doesn't really have too much bump. I would also think you need to have a very light grip on it to actually keep it going with a 22. Wouldn't $100 worth of 22's be like 3000+ rounds? How many mags do you own man |

Theres a thread here that a guy shows how he made one. They are way overpriced for sure. They will come down when the patent runs out and the Chinese start making a ripoff of them Do not worry what anyone elses opinion of them are. If you want one,get one and have fun. |
