Has anyone had a broken block?  I have two broken blocks and Slidefire tells me sorry, buy a new stock.  They say their working on making the blocks available seperately.  I don't believe that because they've been saying it for over a year and nothing has come of it.  It does not take that long to make a new mold.  Has anyone made their own?  I thought about tracking down a machinist to make some from Delrin at least for my own purposes.  If anyone has an info please share.

Thanks!

I was considering buying another Slidefire, but, if that's the way it's gonna be, we'll they can GFT's.

I bought a used slide fire a while back and when I got it I found that the block was cracked and glued back together. I contacted slide fire and they sent me a new one free of charge and no questions asked. This was probably about a year ago, so I guess they have changed their policy on replacing broken blocks. It seems like a pretty simple part that could be replicated easily by a machinist (I have no experience as a machinist so this is a assumption on my part). If / when you do find a new one be careful not to over tighten it, that's the most common way these get broken.

Same here  - I over tightened mine to the point where the washer was stuck in the block lol

I contaced slidefire and they sent me one free of charge - this was about a year ago

The block should be made out of aluminum IMO
