I recently got an Armalite M15A4 Carbine, and have been shooting it every weekend; Ive probably put about 1000-1250 rounds of mostly Wolf ammo through it.

Today, after getting back from the range, I noticed that the fit/tightness between the  upper and lower recievers was noticably looser than I remember it; it did have a VERY slight movement when first purchased, but now the range of movement is about 1/16 of an inch.

Is this normal for ARs that have seen some usage? Will this have any effect on the accuracy of the weapon?

If so, what can I do to correct it?

Thanks in advance!

how is the accuracy?

Well, 95% of the time I fire offhand, from anywhere between 300 and 10 yards. At 50 yards, I shoot 3-4 inch groups.

That said, I think the gun is in the 1.5-2.5 MOA range

better than average accuracy if you're using irons and standard ammo
