I'm building my first pistol, and I'm wondering if a sling swivel is forbidden at the rear of a buffer tube/receiver extension. It seems that everyone has a sling attachment point at the rear of the lower receiver. If not, who offers a pistol buffer tube with provision for a sling swivel at the rear of the tube?

Also, is a heavy buffer necessary with an Ace pistol buffer tube for operation with a standard bolt and bolt carrier?

Parts so far:

DPMS Kitty Kat upper with flat top receiver, fixed A2 front sight base
Stripped, unbuilt Essential Arms lower
Bushmaster lower parts kit
Noveske KX3 flash suppressor

Thanks!

I can't imagine that being a legal problem.

Now,assuming it's technically possible, you've got
me thinking about something: AR Whip-it gun!
