My magpul sling mount (rsr ?) faces up and when I use the ms3 sling the clip gets cought between the mount and front sight ... I really am not sure where to mount the sling mount as I don't have much room ... Any suggestions ?

back by the receiver

You could get a CQD front mount which would move the mounting point closer to the middle of the rail instead of the top.

Turn it around so it faces down.

Or mount it on the 6o'clock rail on the bottom.

I see tons of room, BTW.

This should work.

Or you could go 12 o'clock right behind your SR07.

Maybe this? Works well for me. Top rail, just behind front sight.  Move your tape switch (or whatever it is) back a slot or two and/or reverse it?

+1 on relocate and reverse...

You can reverse your sling clips as well.

Try it on the bottom rail. I have mine on the bottom because when you use your sling as support for shooting the pressure is pulling the rifle down into your hand instead of to to the left. Putting it close to teh reciever makes it pretty much inpossable to get it secure on your back because the rifle turns sideways. I have mine on a paracord loop like Frank Proctor. It has survived a carbine class, it's light weight and can fit any rifle regaurdless of mounting hardware.
