If I use a QD mount on the buttstock or receiver end, can I use an HK style hook (or Mash hook?) on the forward rail, unhook from the front, and clip into the ring that the strap webbing runs through on the buttstock/receiver end? Is there enough room in the strap webbing ring to do this? If no, is there any other type of hook that would work? Sounds as if it would make it really simple to switch from 2 pt to single point carry, as needed.
The other option would be QD's at the front rail, receiver end, and buttstock. Then just switch as needed. Attachments at the receiver end and buttstock wouldn't quite be single point, but close. |
