Was thinking about a single point sling for my pistol. Who sells them?

Have any of you found your pistol shoots better with a traditional 2 point sling for aiming support?

Thanks

It seems everyone is selling a single point sling these days. I have one from Blackhawk, a Specter Gear, Troy, and a couple local manufacturers. Personally, I like a no frills basic single point that can be disconnected easily if necessary.

I don't think the AR pistol really has enough length for a two point, especially without a buttstock. I find that adding a buffer sling plate like those sold by Daniel Defense or Magpul work best.

I use a Spector single point with quick detach.  Adjusted right, it will allow you to put tension on the pistol for a steadier hold.

Where can I get a Spector Sling?

I have a magpul ASAP endplate and a generic bungee sling from LA police gear. Love it.

I need a different end plate. I have a G G & G. It sets too high. I raked my thumb across it every time I pull the charging handle.

Magpul ASAP.  It seems expensive, but I love it.

I use a Condor Cobra One Point Rifle Bungee sling . I like being able to disconnect the pistol without have to remove the whole sling.

Guy sells them on ebay for about 30 bucks.

I use the SLAP plate from ikickhippes.com and either an MS2 or a Spectre Gear single-point.  The MS2 is a good idea, but as implemented with 1" webbing, it blows.  Too bad, because I like the single to two point option for carry.  I have a rail mounted side sling adapter on the Troy TRX handguard.

I've got a couple new slings on the way to try (Urban ERT and Troy) to see if I like them better on the pistol.  Thank goodness for the EE!

Use nothing but single point slings from http://www.gearsector.com/

Extremely well made.

+1 for a Magpul ASAP plate with a single point QD generic sling. makes the AR pistol hang on your weak side under a coat, keeping strong side holstered pistol clear. With a quick detach connector(s)

I now have two of the Cobara One Point Bungee Slings!  I am also adding a Magpul Multi Mission Sling System - MS2.  I can go from 1 point to over-the-shoulder and two point tactical firing stance

Wow, I like that!  How long does it take you to make those though!? I guess I don't have the patience to do that on my own lol

Just picked one of these up for $20 off Amazon. For that price I figured I'd give it a try.

I have been very happy with mine. Works very well and never had any problems with it. What more could you ask for......

Thing I don't think I would like about the bungy type sling is it seems like it would be difficult to get a tight hold with it on the weapon. I can set my regular single point to when I bring it up, it's tight which helps steady the pistol. (hope that all makes since)

Works for me.  I have two.  one for my AR & AK pistol.  I also use a Magpul MS2 (got after I had the two bungee slings) with the AR.  Since, I also have a Norinco 56s-1 underfolder the extra bungee or MS2 is good to have!

I use a Magpul MS2 attached to - you guessed it - a Magpul ASAP. It's a great combo. The sling could benefit from wider webbing but it is so soft, the material, that it feels great when you're wearing it. I'll be picking up a tan MS2 to match my pistol's color scheme before long and save the current (black) sling for the next pistol I'm going to start building. I really like this sling attachment point. It has passed stress tests of up to 300 lbs. I just need to get FDE TROY sights and sling and I'll be good to call it quits on this build.
