Ive never used anything but CLP and never really had anything to complain about, but ive been hearing people rave about slip 2000 lately.  Any thoughts?  Pros, cons, comparisons?  Much appreciated.

You guys crack me up!!!!

I use SLIP 2000 and find it to be the best lube I have ever used! It stays put and does not burn off and has great corrosion protection! It is also non-toxic. Keep carbon and fouling from sticking like nothing else and I have tried everything.
Breakfree is good and so is FP-10 and Mil-Comm but I feel Slip2000 is a superior product.

What makes you think SLIP is non-toxic?

Well to much of anything even water can be toxic. The make up of Slip 2000 is listed as non-toxic/non-hazardous. They advertise it this way as well which is posted on their website.
Ballistol is also non-toxic and was pumped into rabbits stomach's which had little to effect on them. There is a link to this test somewhere around here.
There is also a link to oils that are toxic or have hazordus ingreedents in them. Tetra has or had a neurotoxin in it. That is why I stopped using it.

I have used both and really don't have a favorite of the two. I really think that either one would do you just fine. But that is just a opinion. Take it for what it is worth-nothing.
